Barbara Cummings, President of Politicus
Correctus, began her own business in 1995, after spending 25 years in the medical
profession. Her last position was as Director of Human Resources and Management
of a regional trauma center in Abington, Pennsylvania.
Her desire to
own her own business was realized when she started Politicus Correctus which showcases
her management and customer service background as well as her personality and
talents. "Politicus Correctus teaches people how to be the very, very best
that they or their company possibly can," Cummings says.
Cummings
was one of 24 women chosen to accompany Governor Tom Ridge on a trade mission
to Canada. Also participating was the Director of GPU Energy in Reading, Pennsylvania,
who was so impressed with Ms. Cummings that she not only hired her for staff training
but also nominated her to serve as an ambassador for Team Pennsylvania, to help
bring trade to the state.
Politicus Correctus counts big names
in industry such as Morton International, which was bought by Rohm & Haas,
Ingersoll-Rand, and GPU as clients.
